Join us for a unique opportunity to walk in Walt Disney’s footsteps in a talk with Christopher Tremblay. Tremblay will discuss his journey following Walt’s path from his birthplace in Chicago to his trek across middle-America, finally landing in Hollywood, and the many adventures and setbacks he encountered along the way. Learn about Walt’s travels throughout his illustrious career, to places including Alaska, Europe, and South America.
About the Speaker
Dr. Christopher W. Tremblay is the originator of Walt’s Pilgrimage, a unique undergraduate honors course in the Study in the States Program at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, where Tremblay serves as an adjunct instructor. Tremblay earned his Doctor of Education degree in educational leadership from the University of Michigan. He is an author and works as a marketing and research consultant for Michigan State University’s Gifted and Talented Education (GATE). He is a member of the Disney College Program Alumni Association and has been involved in supporting The Walt Disney Birthplace and the Walt Disney Hometown Museum. Tremblay is also the author of article entitled, “Disney for Credit: The Presence of Disney in the Academy,” which discovered more than 75 Disney-themed college courses in higher education.
