Join us for our second annual Family Access Day, where we invite children with disabilities or other health-care needs—plus their friends and family—to enjoy the museum for free. Our doors open one hour early for qualifying families to enjoy quiet time before the museum opens to the general public. Throughout Family Access Day, guests can explore the museum galleries, work on an art project, make a stop-motion animated film, and watch a classic Disney movie in our theater. Also, guests can explore the museum galleries, where they will find animation, innovation, and inspiration in the remarkable life story of Walt Disney. Family Access Day Guests will also be granted early admission to our special exhibitions, Nine Old Men: Walt Disney’s Masters of Animation and Make Believe: The World of Glen Keane.

Since 1982, Support for Families of Children with Disabilities has offered information, education, and parent-to-parent support free of charge to families and professionals of children with any kind of disability or special health care need in San Francisco.
