Explore character development and get an in-depth look into the animation industry with guest animators from The Animation Collaborative. In this two-week class, enjoy in-process feedback, technical presentations, and career advice, while experiencing comprehensive, hands-on lessons that help bring your animations to life.

Focus on the process it takes to fully develop a character from concept to final design, including brainstorming and designing different looks and silhouettes, learning how shape can dictate personality. Study more in-depth approaches to character development, inside and out, while bringing those characters to life with animation.

This intensive class is designed for students interested in character development and learning about professional animation practices. Previous animation experience is preferred but not a requirement.

This class requires an application (click here to download), which are due to Studio Manager, Travis Lacina, tlacina@wdfmuseum.org, by May 1, 2016. Acceptance notifications will be sent out no later than May 15, 2016.
