The Walt Disney Family Museum’s newest original exhibition, Awaking Beauty: The Art of Eyvind Earle, is a retrospective showcasing the life and work of Eyvind Earle. Earle is best known as the lead stylist for Walt Disney’s classic feature Sleeping Beauty (1959) and for concept art that shaped such enduring favorites as Lady and the Tramp (1955) and Peter Pan (1953). In conjunction with our members only preview day, join co-curators Michel Labrie and Ioan Szasz for a members only talk. Learn about Earle’s role as a mentor to Szasz, Earle’s fascinating career at The Walt Disney Animation Studios and beyond, and hear about some not-to-be-missed pieces on view in Awaking Beauty, on view until January 8, 2018.

Tickets for this program are offered as first-come, first-served basis and may be picked up at the ticket desk beginning at 10am the day of the program, Wednesday, May 18.
